Baptism

Lillian celebrated her baptism today at Sacred Hearth Catholic Church with Fr. Bob. Grandma and Grandpa Campbell came up from Flint along with Uncle Bill, Aunt Barb and Kaity, Aunt Kris, Uncle David and Josh and Nick. Grandma and Grandpa Henning hosted brunch at thier house afterwards (thanks!). Great Grandma Henning was able to come up as well. Lillian recieved many beautiful gifts. Thanks to all for making this a special day for Lilly! Here are LOTS of photos!

It seems like we are seeing so much more of her personality lately! It's a lot of fun! What a little goofball!

Raspberries

Lilly is so talented. Today she taught herself how to blow raspberries. And she's been practicing ALL DAY. It really very cute and she will blow them back at you when you blow them. Now, not only does she drool constantly, but she blows it everywhere too! She's been eating bananas this week. She certainly enjoys all the fruits I've given her including applesauce and peaches. We're going to try sweet potatoes and squash next. She's still not big on rolling although she has rolled from her belly to her back and from her side to both her belly and back. (Did you get all that?)

And her poop stinks. Yes, I know its not the most delightful topic and I know that everyone said it would smell horrible when she started solids and you were all right. And her farts smell bad too! =)

Lilly Pets the Kitty

Oh Daddy!

So I came home from school on Friday to find Lilly in the outfit I had set out for her the previous night. Daddy had dressed her. He generally does pretty good with this. I think this might have been his first "daddy dressed me" uh-oh. Lilly's shirt was on backwards. The snaps on this shirt go on the front. I can see how it might be slightly confusing. It was so cute that I actually left it on backwards (and I took some pictures!) Bless his heart, he does a wonderful job with Lilly while I'm at work and I'm so thankful that, despite the circumtances, Levi is able to be home so much with Lilly.

She hasn't rolled over yet (darn!) but she's getting SO close. I'm sure she'll do it when I'm not home or, worse yet, once I walk out of the room! This week we have been eating carrots. Lilly seems to "like" them as well. And by that I mean she eats them when I shove them in her mouth! Lilly and I went to a baby shower in Grand Rapids with Grandma Henning and Aunt Tamra. I dressed her up cute and thought I'd take some pictures. Nevertheless, she was not going to smile for these! She's actually more interested in watching daddy vaccum in the second photo. Oh well. She's still a cutie!

Lilly started solids recently. Here is her first experience with green beans. Looks like she's gonna really enjoy this, right?
