Snickers

I just realized that this is my 115th post. In the blogging world people often commemorate their 100th post. Oops. Guess I missed that one by 15 posts. Oh well.

So we have settled into the hum-drum of summer at our house. Things seem to have settled down a bit and Lilly and I have spent a lot of time at home. We have been going to the library on Monday mornings for story time and Lilly has finished the summer reading program and earned lots of coupons for free ice cream cones. Good excuse to go get ice cream, right?

I wanted to take Lilly's picture in her dress last week before we left to go out to Levi's parents for dad's birthday. Lilly had to bring all the stuffed animals she could carry. She calls her giraffe a zebra even though she knows the word giraffe! This was taken in the sandbox. I made her take off her clothes before she got in.
I brought Snickers, the guinea pig from my classroom, home for the summer. Lilly absolutely LOVES Snickers! She goes up to her cage and screams at her, stuffs toys in between the bars and feeds her "snacks." Then she will run to this chair, sit down, and say "lap, 'Nickers, 'inny pig?"

She has to give anything soft and furry a kiss!
