Lilly Takes on the Fair

On Friday we went to the Isabella County Fair with our friends Andrea and Jordan. We went to check out all the 4-H animals-cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, bunnies, etc. We bought some ride tickets with the intentions of riding the ferris wheel until we discovered that Lilly wasn't tall enough to ride even with an adult. Instead, Andrea took Lilly down the big slide. (Its dark but they are on the left in the middle).


She really liked the "choo-choo" so she rode this twice. She had also ridden this in June at the Holy Redeemer Festival. She barely cracked a smile but it was late and I honestly think she enjoyed it!

She also rode the "forsies" (AKA Horsies). I think she liked it but the ride was so short we didn't really get a chance to find out. I think we only went around about 3 times!

Today we went out to swim at gramma and granpa's. Lilly does really well in her water wings and isn't afraid to get water in her face. She can even blow bubbles. She is a bit timid but I think it is a healthy nervousness! She LOVES doing "motorboat, motorboat" over and over agian.
