One Month!

Lilly is now just over one month old! I can't believe how fast she is growing. Here are a few more pictures of her.

Update on Lilly

Lilly's been doing wonderfully! She's spending more time alert and awake. She loves to look at our faces and the patterned quilt on our couch. Last weekend we went to Traverse City for (Uncle) Josh and (Aunt) Tamra's wedding. Lilly had a great time. She had her first dance with Uncle Matt. She slept through it though....! Here are some of my favorite pictures (so far!) I can't believe she's over 3 weeks old already!


We're heading to Flint on Sunday to visit Grandma and Pa Campbell and all Lilly's aunts, uncles and cousins down there. We're also going to Nate and Jenelle's to meet Addyson.

Lilly's First Week

Lilly's first week went well. She had her first doctors appointment on Tuesday. Mumma and Lilly worked on getting a good feeding schedule going this week. We're still working on that but things are going smoother....

Lilly had a bit of jaundice this week. My motherly instinct told me that she was a bit yellow so I took her to the lab to get tested. Apparently it wasnt too bad because Dr. Fox's instructions were to simply nurse more frequently and set her next to the window to get some sunlight!

On Thursday, Lilly had her first "grandma time" when I left her with grandma Henning while I ran some errands for school. She slept the entire time I was gone and I don't think grandma put her down the hour and a half that I was gone! I realized that this was the first time in a week that I hadn't been in the same place with her.

Today we are going to Midland to see Great Grandma Ahearn and Great Aunt Phyllis.
