8 Months Old....Already!

Lilly is 8 months old (yesterday)! She is rolling everywhere right now. I don't think it will be too much longer until she is pulling herself up to a standing position. I don't know if she'll ever actually crawl....we'll see. She has mastered the "pincer grasp" which means she can pick up small things between her thumb and finger. She can feed herself puffy cereal and get it into her mouth. She is dancing, talking and smiling as usual. We're working on "bye-bye" and "pat-a-cake"(per grandma's request.) Here's a video of Lilly jabbering to her "da-da." Levi is across the kitchen talking to her. You even get to see more dancing. Don't mind the mixed vegetables smeared all over her shirt-she had just finished her dinner. Hey, ya gotta get the videos when ya can!

Lilly's dancing skills have been improving. Daddy worked with her earlier this week while I was at school. She's got the head part down pat. She has seriously been turning into a little goofball lately. I don't know where she gets it from!

Spring!

Daddy decided that Lilly was getting far too big to sit in her infant bathtub on the kitchen sink. As a result, Lilly got her first big-girl tubby. She seemed to really enjoy it, even when she dove head-first into the water when reaching for a toy!
It was like, 40 degrees here today and sunny, sunny, sunny! Lilly, Daddy, Dozer and I made a trip to the park. Dozer chased the frisbee and Lilly and I swung on the swings and went down the slide.

Lilly getting ready to crawl. I have to put her on her hands and knees and she rocks back and forth. She hasn't actually gone anywhere yet! Usually she'll stay like this for a few and then dive for whatever toy I've placed in front of her. I'm not sure she understands that she can make herself move. She sure looks like a big girl though!
I'm on Spring Break this week. Mostly, I have spent it cleaning, reorganizing, and getting some other small things done around the house. And of course, spending lots of time loving on Lilly!
